Out Again

I BIT THE BULLET THIS MORNING AND HAD MY LONG HAIR CUT OFF,
BY A VERY NICE GUY AT "SHARING SHED' AT 'THE BASE' SHOPPING CENTRE IN TE RAPA.

THEN IT WAS TIME FOR A SHORT WANDER AROUND A FRIEND'S GARDEN.
I ESPECIALLY ADMIRED THIS FLOWERING BEAUTY, TUCKED AWAY IN A CORNER.

AND I LOVED HER CAGE BIRDS, WHO WERE SINGING AWAY IN THEIR SHELTERED SPOT ENJOYING THE SUNSHINE.
AFTER GOING OUT THREE DAYS IN A ROW, I THINK PERHAPS I SHOULD STAY AT HOME TOMORROW!

  1. I'd love to see before and after pictures of you and your haircut. I think of getting mine cut but it's just too easy to care for it longer ( I tie it back with a scrunchie).

    1. LOL I'll have to think about that one. I did take some but didn't think they were very good. I might tuck them into a special post just before my normal posting for tomorrow. We'll see :)

  3. Oh, what a radical change, Margaret - hope you hare happy with the results. (been there, done that!)
The Red Hot Pokers look lovely in the corner, contrasted against the brick, and the birds certainly seem to have a wonderful spot.
I gave my hairdresser a shock about nine months ago when I told her I wanted to grow my hair - I have had it super short for 10 - 15 years! It's now about chin level and we are both happy with it there :)

    1. I don't think they are red hot pokers as they had prickles, more like a type of succulent.
Looks like we have the same haircuts now :)

  5. I too would love to see a before and after shot. My hair is very, very short, and has been for a while. Once I got it short, I cannot stand to let it grow out.

I love that flower/plant. Wish I knew what it is.
