Car Wash

THE BIG EVENT TODAY WAS ME WASHING MY CAR.
NOT PERFECT, BUT RESPECTABLE, AND I WAS THRILLED BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN OVER TWO YEARS SINCE I WAS PHYSICALLY ABLE TO DO IT MYSELF.
OVERALL, IT HAS BEEN A SUNNY DAY WITH ONLY A FEW WISPY CLOUDS IN THE BLUE SKY
I DISTURBED A PRAYING MANTIS IN THE GARDEN
THE REMAINING RED KIWIFRUIT HAVE BEEN STEWED UP FOR TONIGHT'S DESSERT
STAY HAPPY 😊

    1. Yes, we have green, gold and red kiwifruit now (but I still find them all tasting pretty much the same, although I don't think they are meant to!).

    1. I was glad the washing water was hot as the hose water was so cold and my hands froze!

    1. It is the first time I have tried stewing them and they were good but the seeds were much more obvious!

  5. Well done with the car. It's amazing how things like that can lift one and spur on onward. Icame to tems with golden kiwi fruits but I'll pass on red. There are plenty of other red fruit I'd rather eat.

    1. They are not a big thing here yet. We get mostly golden ones, followed by the greens. The reds seem to be more of a novelty still.

    1. Must have been high winds making them wispy. We have had wind most of today.

  7. I’ve never seen red kiwi fruit.
Elk done on the car washing. I’ve not been able to wash mine for years. Thankfully we have a hot wash machine and hubby happily washes it for me

  9. I also was surprised that kiwi now comes in different colours. I haven't seen any gold or red ones here as yet but I'll keep my eyes open.

    1. I'm pretty sure they export gold ones now, not so sure about the red ones though. They are still rather new.
