MOST OF THE WILD FOWL WERE SITTING IT OUT IN A SEMI- SHELTERED CORNER.
THERE WERE FREQUENT SHOWERS PASSING THROUGH. LUCKILY I MANAGED TO MISS GETTING WET.
THE HOSPITAL LOOKED QUITE IMPOSING WHEN THE SUN PICKED OUT THE WHITE BUILDINGS.
COLD WIND GIVES ME EARACHE, SO I WAS GLAD I HAD MY WARM WOOLLY HAT ON 😀

I walked by the lakeside a lot while Mum was in hospital up there. It's lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning photo of the hospital, Margaret - it certainly looks as though it was a cold, windy and overcast day in your corner.

Your photos really do convey a day with sharp edges. Bright. Crisp. Chilling.
ReplyDeleteThe hospital looks really big! I am thankful to be enjoying summer right now, but the wind never seems to stop even so.
ReplyDeleteIt is our biggest regional hospital and services nearly 400,000 people (about 750 beds and 22 operating theatres). It was first established here in the 1880s on 50 acres of land. All facts that I never knew before but went looking for after your comment LOL.
DeleteLovely photos, and our weather is similar but no rain here. We do need rain and hope some is on the way.
ReplyDeleteLove your photos and hope you didn't get wet.
ReplyDeleteLovely lake photos even if it was a chilly day.
ReplyDeleteI'm always glad of a woolly hat to cover my ears, I don't get ear ache but do get dizzy.
It might be cold and blustery but you got some lovely photos
ReplyDeleteI smiled at the reference to the hat. We just put ours away for the season but we could use them today.
ReplyDeleteGood to see you getting out even on a blustery day!
ReplyDeleteGlad you didn't get rained on. Lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteIt has been very blustery but lately we've had calm cloudy damp days.
