Early Morning

THE LOCAL SPIDERS WERE BUSY OVERNIGHT.
I WENT OUTSIDE TO WATCH THE SUN RISING THROUGH THE AUTUMN MIST.
THE TEMPERATURE WAS 5 DEGREES CENTIGRADE, ALMOST LOW ENOUGH FOR A FROST.
THERE WAS A SOLITARY BLACKBIRD SINGING IN A TREE.
IT WAS A GOOD MORNING FOR A BOWL OF HOT PORRIDGE
(COOKED WITH SULTANAS SO I DON'T NEED SUGAR).
IT WAS A LOVELY WAY TO START MY WEEKEND.
I HOPE YOU HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND TOO 😊

    1. It sounds strange to not have cobwebs. I presume you still have spiders?

    1. You want to try it Marlene. I add them with the oats and cook them together - you might like it!

  6. Great photos all of them - reminds me that living somewhere with 4 real seasons definitely has its attractions.

  7. Spiderwebs everywhere are such an Autumn thing, aren't they. They look so amazing. We put raisins in our oatmeal but I'm afraid I still add brown sugar ( and cream if I have any).
