Anything growing gives pleasure! I find it so interesting that you have green, growing things, and flowers...in the middle of your winter! (I'd really miss snow though!)
That's an unusual name for that frilly lettuce :) Beautiful navy blue Sweet Pea flower. I hope my Sweet Peas will be able to make their way up the trellis past the aggressively growing Morning Glories. You can bet I'll be happy to see the first bloom. Of course the perennial ones have been flowering for a while but they are not as delicate and also have no scent.
