The storm's lightning set fire to a school hall out the other side of the city, but we had nothing here.
Decluttering my things continues, with added importance now as Son has decided to get new carpet put down through the house.
Today I emptied this China cabinet, ready for a granddaughter to collect.
A few of its contents I will keep (it was packed with stuff), and put into my own display cabinet. Granddaughter will take some, but most of it will be getting donated.
I see our lemon tree (or, rather, I could smell it) is flowering again. I love having lemons in the garden.
I hope everyone is having a happy week.

I love the sky in the first photo. It's just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have a lemon tree; I can imagine how the flowers smell!

I used to have a lemon tree in my old house that produces lemons all year round. I miss that tree
ReplyDeleteI'm envious of your lemon tree! We have 2 trees and this season is terrible. I bought a kilo of lemons yesterday.
ReplyDeleteHooray for more decluttering. Well dobe
Your granddaughter will cherish and love that cabinet!
ReplyDeleteYou are doing great with the decluttering! I like that first pic...glad you did not have anything happen there.
ReplyDeleteLemons! How lovely! They sure grow well there!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful old china cabinet. I have a hard time getting rid of stuff like that! Glad it's going to your granddaughter.
ReplyDeleteYour lemon tree is very productive. Yes lemons are always needed here as well
ReplyDeleteI love the way lemon trees have flowers and fruit at the same time.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty lemon tree!
ReplyDeleteThat is a really classical china cabinet - I grew up with one similar, but could not keep it at the time the house was 'sorted'[, but a few years ago got a similar one, secondhand, and i love it
