Because I was already in town, I decided to buy groceries today instead of tomorrow. This was my view from the car when I arrived at the supermarket and the rain was bucketing down.
Most of the time it was light rain with heavy showers, so I dodged raindrops and got some shopping done as well.
For a long time, I've wanted an artificial plant to hang in the bathroom and found this one for sale on a good special.
Of course, the sun came out after lunch! It was very windy though, but I did get to photograph some of the grass garden glowing in the sunlight.
Our weather is currently so changeable that forecasts cannot be relied upon.
I wonder what weather tomorrow will bring?

I love your new header photo. Where was it taken from and which piece of coast is it?
ReplyDeleteHi there. I describe it in the "School Holidays" post on 1 October, if you want to look it up.
DeleteWe are off to town today and we have showers promised, hope not as heavy as yours.
ReplyDeleteGoing out in the rain isn’t nice. But at least you have done all your errands and now relax at home
ReplyDeleteI have not had to shop in the rain in a while...I have gotten till I avoid it if I can...but would have didvlikevyou if I was already there for something else.
ReplyDeleteThe grasses in the last shot are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGood that you got your shopping for the week all done. I was sure I had posted a comment last night but in my tiredness I must not have pressed Publish.
ReplyDeleteToday is a glorious day here. The birds seem particularly noisy, I think they are enjoying it, too. Tomorrow I go to town, who know what will happen then. I'll just take what I have today.
ReplyDeleteFabulous plant Margaret - a great 'find'.
ReplyDeleteYes, the weather certainly does not listen to, or obey, the forecast at the moment!!
The most reliable 'forecast' is to look out of the window!!
Blessings
