It might take me weeks, but I only stitch for short periods at a time and usually not every day.
The main thing is I enjoy the slow pace of hand-stitching and not having any pressure to finish something.
I continue to declutter a little each day, and unearthed my mother's old china pincushion (the pins go in the back).
I remember this frog from my girlhood and it has always intrigued me.
It is going to live in my own sewing box now.

The apron looks rather cute. The frog statue is a good find
ReplyDeleteYou do a wonderful job with your hand sewing. The apron is lovely. So is the pincushion
ReplyDeleteThe apron is a beauty! Slow stitching is very Zen...But....THAT FROG!! I love frogs...he is a treasure!
ReplyDeleteThe apron is beautiful Margaret – what patience and talent you have to handstitch! And the frog is a treasure, indeed, how wonderful to have it in your own sewing box – I love things that are handed down. I have my grandmother’s sewing scissors, sweet memories.
ReplyDeleteI love the apron.. and the frog pincushion!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly are getting a lot of use of the $3 duvet. I like it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful apron, and so clever to recycle. People don’t wear aprons anymore. I love them I made mine with big pockets. So I can carry stuff
ReplyDeleteVery pretty apron and I love that it has a nice good size pocket. We always need a pocket don't we?
