IT WAS WORTH MISSING A BIT OF SLEEP FOR, AS THE CHANGEABLE WEATHER MADE IT A VERY EXCITING RACE.
WE HAD QUITE A LOT OF RAIN OVERNIGHT, BUT THE DAY TURNED OUT MOSTLY DRY.
I VISITED FAMILY AND MET UP WITH SOME COUSINS I'VE NOT SEEN FOR A FEW YEARS (THEY LIVE IN THE SOUTH ISLAND).
IT WAS SO GOOD TO BE ABLE TO SEE THEM AGAIN.
RUSTY TOOK TO HIS BED UNDER THE COFFEE TABLE.
ALTOGETHER, IT HAS BEEN A GREAT DAY.

My son in law was at the race he works for F1 on their IT team, he is often at the races around the world, he should be back home tomorrow until his next race.
