Headache

I really hate having a headache.  My head pounds, my eyes hurt, I cannot think straight, and I seem to be incapable of doing anything at all.

I woke this morning with a real doozie and it has totally wiped me out for the day.  I managed to read some blogs, watched a bit of TV, dozed in front of the fire (that son kindly lit to keep me cozy) and have swallowed as many painkillers as I am allowed.

Hopefully tomorrow I will be fine again!

Hugz to everyone J

Margaret.

  5. Oh Margaret - deepest sympathies, there are few things more crippling than a doozie headache. Your clematis is magnificent by the way.

  6. Ouch - nothing worse than waking with a (migraine) headache - and then the next few days you feel as though you have a 'bruised brain/hangover' which doesn't help! Do hope you are brighter tomorow morning
    Stay safe
    Blessings

  8. Sorry to hear this. Is it headache or maybe migraine?
I suffered the latter for years and then got acupuncture - pain free ever since (1997)!
    Get well soon! Hugs!

    1. Thanks Iris. It developed into a migraine. I used to get them years ago (acupuncture never helped, so you were lucky) but have not had such a bad one for a long time.

    1. Oh yes, the nausea is awful. Nibbling dry crackers helps a bit, but only a bit.

  12. I feel your pain and hope you are feeling better by now. I seldom have a headache like that but used to have them every now and then. Where they hurt so bad, someone could have hit me on the side of my head with a baseball bat and it would have been relief.

    1. I know that feeling, but at least a baseball bat might make you insensible and you wouldn't feel it anymore :)

  17. I so agree ..... is it a migraine. Plenty of rest to the eyes; sleep as much as you can in cool & dark room. Get well soon Margaret.

Those purple flowers are so pretty, what are they called?

    1. It did turn into a migraine. My vision is still funny and it is hard to concentrate, but I am feeling better today. The flowers are clematis - they are pretty aren't they?
