Thankyou

Thankyou everyone for your kind comments on my last blog.
It turned out I did have concussion after all, so its been a bit of an odd week.
However, my head doesn't hurt as much now, and my finger is moving again and only hurts if I put pressure on it.
The sprained muscles are healing well and the bruises don't look quite as grotesque as they did.
Both my sons and my doctor have told me "no more lace-up shoes" so they are heading for a thrift shop.

Mittens has become a shadow-cat, always wanting to be near me. I guess my screaming gave her a fright!
I am taking one day at a time at the moment but each day is better than the last.  Thankyou again for all your kind comments.
Margaret xx

  1. It's great to know you're on the mend and feeling a bit better. If your sons have decreed "no more lace-up shoes" I'm assuming that the reason you fell had to do with exactly that :( Poor you and poor Mittens. GM

  2. I an glad you are recovering...Mittens probably knows you are not fully recovered. One of my cats always stayed close to me if I were sick. And ifdaughter is really unwell, Copper will hardly leave her side.

  3. I wear slip on or slip in shoes...well mainly just crocs or snow boots:) Take it easy and rest sometime concussions need time to get better.

  4. Glad to hear you are recovering. I had a fall some years back that broke my glasses, loosened my front teeth a little and gave me concussion and I didn't realize the last bit for a while. It took time to get better. Glad Mittens worries about you.

  5. So glad you are improving. I was wondering about the lace-up shoes as I thought they were the safest but I see it was when you were tying them up. Take care and I hope you continue to mend well.

  6. Goodness - I'm doing catch up. Sorry to read you tipped over and good to know Dr Mittens is in attendance as you recover.

  7. Oh Margaret - that sounds horrible ... tumbles take their toll as we age, I have discovered, having taken one recently and sprained my ankle and did a whopping great skin tear on one arm... Like you I am well recovered, but it was still not pleasant
