The beds are spread out over a large area.
Each area is dedicated to a particular type of rose, such as these ones.
I rested for a while inside this little summer house.
While I drank my water, I watched one of the garden staff tending the garden. It takes a lot of work to keep everything looking lovely.
Rabbits are a major problem here, and each rose bed is surrounded with a barrier fence.
It was a gorgeous day for my visit.
Welcome, Summer!

ReplyDeleteAll we have left now on the rose bushes is the hips. Thanks for the memories. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a blissfully peaceful place for you to escape to! Surely those fences/barriers don't keep a determined, and hungry, rabbit out? WOuldn't they dig under, or hop over? Im intrigued!
ReplyDeleteYes, I wondered that as well but obviously it does keep the majority of them out.
