It was too early to check into my motel, so I spent some time at Pilot Bay wharf watching some of the ships entering and leaving Tauranga Port.
The weather was a little miserable, with rain for most of my journey. It began clearing later in the afternoon, though, with a promise of better weather for my stay.
I am very pleased with my motel unit - and nothing says Welcome quite like some complimentary chocolate!
Stay happy 😊

Wonderful that you could get away from the smell of paint and the chaos that moving furniture around causes and go somewhere peaceful. Have a lovely get-away. GM
ReplyDeleteWhat Motel? Any Motel that provides chocolate must be good.

ReplyDeleteLD....sometimes it is the simple things that make things so special and welcome you. I enjoy seeing shots of your country. We enjoy the PBS shows that are taped in your country getting to see all that is there..
