Usually, I like to stay home on weekends and public holidays, but today, Sunday, I had to make a quick visit to the supermarket.
Coming home I became entangled with several Girl Racers using the public road as their private racetrack. Twice I had to brake heavily to avoid an accident, and also brake three other times when the car in front was being dangerously passed by these idiots.
This was at 9.30 in the morning!
I was very glad to arrive home safely and relax with a hot mug of tea.
Enjoy your weekend everyone.
Margaret xx
There are definitely some idiots out there. Glad you are o.k.
ReplyDeleteSome people are idiots on the roads but you made it home okay, phew 😊
ReplyDeleteThere are an awful lot of bad drivers on the roads. I'm glad you made it back to that cup of tea ok.
ReplyDeleteThat does not sound like fun at all! Glad you made it home with no accident.
ReplyDeleteWhere is a police car when you need them! At least there was no rage involved. The idiots
ReplyDeleteI have never seen that here but that doesn’t mean it’s not here. You have to be so careful these days!
ReplyDeleteThat must have been so scary! Unfortunately cyclists often disregard their own safety and the safety of others. GM
ReplyDeletePeople are crazy drivers these days, we get them coming off the Cobden Bridge here with no idea how to drive but worst place I've driven was in Tauranga. Like your header image btw
ReplyDeleteGood thing you are home safely:)
ReplyDeleteOh my...why do people do this? Glad you're back home safe and sound...I agree, it's all too much some days.
ReplyDeleteOh Margaret - that was a horrible experience - so glad I am in a small town, and can generally avoid the main highway. I get a bit 'chicken' some days!
ReplyDeleteBlessings
