It has been rather a strange day today, and I am feeling exhausted.
Lately I have been having a lot of shortness-of-breath
issues whenever I do anything (I soon recover when I sit down), so I went along
to the doctor this morning for a check-up.
After several conversations, blood pressure readings, stethoscope
listenings, blood tests, and an ECG, it looks like I may have angina. The doctor has referred me to the cardiac
specialists at our local hospital and said, until we know exactly what is
happening, that he wants me to avoid stress, not drive anywhere, and not to go
out unless I have someone with me.
Looks like I am now on holiday at home!
It rained all day yesterday but today has been cloudy with
some sunshine. I sat in the garden for a
while and admired the beautiful silverbeet.
It is growing so well at the moment.
Until next time,
Margaret 😊
Oh Margaret, I'm sorry you're having some health issues. Please take life very easy, sit by the fire and relax. Enjoy your enforced "holiday at home". Hopefully the appointment to see the cardiac specialist will happen quite soon.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, do take care. Your vegies look wonderful.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you might be sitting on a few of those steps contemplating a few more raised bed gardens like the silverbeet - its looking magnificent by the way.
ReplyDeleteGood to know the possible reason for the breathlessness - even if it is something you wouldn't want, although nowadays there are so many things to help angina. Hope your appointment comes soon and you get sorted out
ReplyDeleteAll good wishes for you.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your beautiful garden.

Best you know about any issues, but hard to have to stay at home and not drive.
ReplyDeleteWe'll have to see how well you heed the doctor's advice! I am sure they will quickly have you back to peak form.
ReplyDeleteOh! Hope you find a solution soon! At least you can enjoy the garden :-)
ReplyDeleteSending good wishes your way and hopes for a good outcome with the specialist! Take care, Margaret.
ReplyDeleteOh do take care...a little sitting in the garden and talking to the garden plants ;) is a good way to spend some time. Sending you good wishes...Mary
ReplyDeleteHoping they figure it out soon. In the meantime you best take it easy and just relax at home.
ReplyDelete-sigh-
ReplyDeleteBut good that you went to doctor and he will be testing.
Day by day... Life can change... I know this, so well...
Gentle hug,

Heavens, stay home and stay calm. Hope the sun shines for you at least and warms you up
ReplyDeleteGosh, rest up. Be selfish. Send love to your heart........
