A Gentle Breeze

After yesterday’s strong winds, today has been a lovely day with a gentle breeze and sunshine.  A few clouds are beginning to gather now but the forecast is for fine today and maybe some showers tomorrow.

Mitten’s friend Tigger wanted to know what she thought of the new bedroom arrangements.  I asked her and she purred, so I figure she is happy.  She certainly likes the fluffy blanket thrown over the chair, claiming it as her special spot so that I feel totally unable to fold the blanket up and store it.

It is easy to tell we are getting closer to Christmas as the junk mail in our mailbox is increasing more each day.  Last night there was so much it was rolled up and kept together with a rubber band!

My little bit of container garden is coming on well, although I really must buy a few more annuals to fill in the gaps.

Wishing everyone a happy and enjoyable day 😊

Margaret.

  3. Your raised garden area is coming along very nicely. It's so much easier to tend to the plants when they're at a comfortable height.

  8. Hello,
Tigger is a cute kitty. I like your planter garden. We get a lot of junk mail too, mostly from charities asking for donations. We had a windy day with some snow flurries. Take care, have a happy day!

  13. Looks like you had a day of summer. nice. I'd like to have a container garden but am not yet sure of how to go about it. Go and buy? Or? I'd love to have some pots of herbs too. Where I would be putting them, unfortunately gets quite a bit of wind.

  14. I used to love going through my parents junk mail. It was fascinating. We don't get any here. Of course they hated the stuff, except when there were coupons

    1. We could stop receiving the junk mail if we wished, but both son and I rather enjoy browsing through it. Sometimes we actually find something interesting!
