The Queen's Funeral

Like so many around the world, we watched as BBC broadcast live the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

It made for a late night – we never went to bed until 4.30am – but I am glad I was able to see this and feel like I was participating in some small way.

Margaret.

Rest in Peace

Queen Elizabeth II

  2. We watched it last night after recording it this morning, I wasn't going to stay up most the night for it. I'm interested to see how Charles handles being King from now on.

  8. - what a sad day -
The funeral was very moving. I've never watched TV for as long as yesterday and I'm just as touched today.

Thanks for your pictures and a hug to you.

  9. Yes, it was on TV here, too. I kinda doubt Charles can really fill in...

    1. That is so sweet. Sometimes it is easy to forget that rats are animals too, just like cats and dogs, and sometimes need the help of humanity.

  12. Wonderful screen shots you captured Margaret - we (still in Cambridge with family) watched until mid-night, and then picked up in almost the same spot we left off the next afternoon, so we saw it all in the end.
    Blessings
